Welcome to the official Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) website for the State Route (S.R.) 51 and S.R. 88 Intersection Improvement Project. This project will design, evaluate, and implement transportation improvements for the corridor along S.R. 51 (Saw Mill Run Boulevard) from just north of Englert Street in the City of Pittsburgh to Stewart Avenue in Whitehall. From the northern project limit, S.R. 51 follows Saw Mill Run Boulevard to an intersection with S.R. 88 (Library Road), then Weyman Run to the southern project limit. The project limits are approximately 1 mile.
